TikTok share sheets usually hand you a short vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com address, or a full tiktok.com/@user/video/ address. This page explains those shapes. Vid Grabber does not download TikTok files yet and is not part of TikTok.
Copy a TikTok address
- Open the video, not the creator’s profile grid.
- Tap Share, then Copy link.
- The copied text may be a sentence plus a URL. If you paste the whole sentence, delete the words and keep the https address.
- Paste the address here. The form does not open TikTok and does not save the video.
Addresses that are easy to mix up
Some posts are photos, not a video file. Copying that link does not create a video.
A profile address is not a video. Open one post and copy again.
A restricted post does not become public because a downloader exists. This site will not try to log in as you.
Questions
They redirect to a full video address in a browser. The form accepts either shape if it is a valid https URL. It does not follow the redirect today.
No processing runs, so nothing is removed or altered.
